Biography
Yvonne started competing in body building competitions in
1984 and just by chance did a show that her friends encouraged
her to do. Yvonne says
"I loved it, studied it, practiced and have competed
in over 25 competitions throughout my career and have competed
at the National level for many years."
One of the most rewarding events for Yvonne was winning
the Master's National's heavyweight and Overall Title.
Each year she strives to make improvements.
Yvonne is a Certified Fitness Trainer, and Certified
Youth Fitness Trainer. Along with her own achievements
she takes great pride in helping others succeed, whether it
be in other sport activities or weight loss.
"Seeing people lose weight and transform themselves
into a fit healthy person is so fulfilling to me! I have
helped many. That is very rewarding! "
Being the promoter of the Wisconsin State Fitness
show is also very rewarding, watching and helping athletes
compete and making it an event for them to remember is very
rewarding! Yvonne donates a portion of all the proceeds from
this even to United Cerebral Palsy, to help others
who have difficulty even performing a small task.
Competitions, training, and bodybuilding are a small part
of Yvonne's life, her family is first. Yvonne has four children,
and live on a farmette in rural Wisconsin. Yvonne credits
much of her success to her husband who is her personal coach.
Yvonne loves animals and has six horses, a few cows, sheep,
kittens, and dogs. Yvonne's other passion is spending time
with her family and the outdoors.
Yvonne was born and raised in Wisconsin on a dairy farm and
proud of it!
